Your Opportunity:

The Lois Hole Hospital for Women provides expert patient care for women of all ages and in all stages of life located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH), one of Alberta’s largest and longest-serving hospitals. Centrally located in Edmonton’s downtown core, the RAH serves a diverse community, including some of our province’s most vulnerable populations. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. In your role, you will teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. The ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care is essential. The successful candidate will handle obstetrical emergencies and care for high risk women with obstetrical and/or medical complications of pregnancy.
