Acute care is a diverse unit caring for adult, pediatric, post-surgical, obstetric, post-partum, newborn, and stable unformed mental health patients. Cold Lake is considered a rural or remote community. Employees who have been employed a full year for a minimum of 400 hours in “an under-served rural or remote community” will qualify for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness (if loan is in good standing).
