Located within the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre, this role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact in the lives of people in your community. Rocky Mountain House is located 77 km west of Red Deer in west central Alberta along the North Saskatchewan River. The community offers a welcoming small town atmosphere with access to modern amenities and a dedicated welcoming committee that supports newcomers in getting connected. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will report to the Home Care Manager and work closely with the Registered Nurse Case Manager to assess, plan, monitor, and evaluate client care. This position includes a strong leadership component and allows you to make a measurable impact on service delivery. You will identify and communicate staffing pressures, support LPN team members, and act as a liaison between frontline staff and leadership. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload through prioritization and delegation. You will demonstrate sound decision making, apply conflict resolution skills, and lead through accountability and professionalism. Strong time management and the ability to work in varied home environments are essential.
