As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have advanced authorization in Medication Administration by CVC, PICC or IVAD. Must have experience with IV initiation (minimum 3 years in a setting requiring frequent IV initiation). Previous experience with sterile procedures required. Previous experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or Cancer Care. Must be able to work all shifts, as assigned. Must be able to wear lead aprons and porter patients. Must be able to work in MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology areas with exposure to magnetic fields and radiation following applicable safety guidelines. Must be able to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
