Join Our Team at Cold Lake Healthcare Centre as a Licensed Practical Nurse and explore the natural beauty of Alberta while making a meaningful impact as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at this rural hospital with the emergency department with 10 funded patient beds. In this role, you’ll work to the full scope of your practice within a multidisciplinary team, delivering patient and family-centered care while utilizing evidence-based practices. This is a rural hospital, so your care will be provided to a variety of clients who could be dealing with urgent care needs, pre- and post-surgical recovery, pediatrics, and the facility also has a Stoke Centre. Your strong organizational and critical thinking skills will be used daily as you provide holistic care to the clients. We are looking for someone who is a strong problem solver and decision maker to assess, plan and evaluate care interventions. You believe in engaging patients and families in their care, promoting the clients’ health while delivering safe, quality care and modeling Alberta Health Services values. You will benefit from the cross training to work with all areas of the hospital and a supportive team environment, including but not limited to day surgery, pre- and post-endoscopy, endoscopy suite, and clinics. Located on Treaty 6 territory and Métis lands, Cold Lake offers a unique blend of serene wilderness, modern amenities and family festivals.
