Alberta Infrastructure is responsible for delivering about one quarter of the Alberta government’s Capital Plan, which addresses the provincial infrastructure needs of Alberta’s population that support key social programs and services and economic development.
The Ministry designs, builds, manages, and maintains government-owned and operated facilities, and collaborates with other ministries to ensure that school and hospital infrastructure meet the needs of Alberta’s population. Infrastructure also provides accommodation services and manages a large portfolio of owned and leased facilities while maintaining fiscal accountability and optimizing value for Albertans.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning, delivery, and evaluation of operations and maintenance services, including project delivery associated with maintaining asset value for an assigned building (or land) portfolio.
This position has a key role in planning and developing contract specifications, administering contracts and agreements, and monitoring associated deliverables for compliance and quality assurance. The facilities coordinator also oversees the activities of service providers associated with various agreements and contracts and/or supervises in-house staff members to ensure client and Ministry service delivery standards are met.

This position is a Permanent, full-time role with the standard weekly work hours of 36.25, Monday to Friday (8:15 am – 4:30 pm).
