Join the Agropur Quebec team as a Plant Technician! We offer a starting salary of $27.54 that can reach $38.80 in three years, evening and night shift premiums, and the chance to contribute to a local cooperative!

What’s involved in this role

• Planning and organizing activities to be accomplished during your shift, including managing raw materials, production schedule, and sanitary maintenance;
• Operating equipment according to usual standards and instructions from the HACCP program;
• Reviewing and completing production reports, performance and preventive maintenance charts;
• Analyzing, understanding, and solving problems during production;
• Performing preventive maintenance according to established procedures;
• Other related tasks.

What you need to join our team

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) in food processing or an equivalent diploma; for example: food science and technology, food engineering, dairy school, etc.;
• Available to work all shifts (day, evening, night, weekend), mainly evening and night (premiums);
• Experience in a plant environment;
• Completed training on pasteurized and UHT treatment (an asset);
• Familiar with computer-assisted work;
• Good communicator, team spirit, and versatility are prerequisites;
• Comfortable with the Office suite.
