• Day shift schedule, currently operating approximately from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Your role in achieving results:

• Maintain equipment and premises by adhering to the preventative maintenance schedule.

• Ensure that equipment is running at optimal capacity through operational inspections and visual checks.

• Assist with the installation of new equipment and modification of existing equipment.

• Complete daily repair work and clean and lubricate equipment within the plant, including pumps and compressors.

• Monitor boiler operations within the plant.

• As part of an on-call rotation, carry out emergency maintenance and after-hour activities as required to support the continued operation of the plant.

• Ensure work areas are clean and remain in compliance with all safety and quality standards and Good Manufacturing Principles.

• Other related duties as needed.

What we are looking for to deliver these results:

• Industrial Electricians and Industrial Mechanics preferred; other trades may be considered.

• Current 4th Class Power Engineer certification or willing to obtain; training can be provided.

• Mechanically inclined and able to support the diagnosis of mechanical and electrical issues.

• Physically fit and able to regularly lift materials up to 25kg.

• Capable learner; various trainings & certifications will be required and must be maintained.

• Motivated self-starter with a continuous improvement methodology.

• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a safety and quality mindset.

• Able to work a primarily Monday to Friday schedule, with rotating weekend coverage and an on-call rotation to respond quickly to emergencies.

• Experience in an industrial or food production environment is considered an asset

• Previous experience with electrical, PLC, plumbing, and pipefitting are considered assets.
