Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Counselor (Remote – Idaho Licensed)

Affect is seeking compassionate, licensed Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselors in Idaho to provide fully remote, evidence-based care to Members across the U.S. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about recovery and are looking for a sustainable, flexible, and mission-driven telehealth environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct intake assessments and evaluate Member readiness for care

  • Facilitate virtual individual and group counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum

  • Provide crisis support and coordinate referrals when needed

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR

  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors on treatment planning and discharge

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable state regulations


Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Idaho license: LPC, LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW 

  • Experience working with substance use disorder populations

  • Comfort providing care via telehealth platforms

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

  • Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range:$55,000–$75,000 (commensurate with license and experience)
