Position: Primary Care Paramedic

Location: Inuvik, NT

Compensation: $450 per day

Advanced Medical Solutions has an opportunity for a Primary Care Paramedic to join our Ground Ambulance Service in Inuvik, NT.

Our Team responds to emergency calls for the town of Inuvik and provides patient transportation to/from the Access Air Ambulance Base in Inuvik. What You Bring:

• PCP Primary Care Paramedic
• HCP CPR Provider or BLS
• WHMIS
• Class 4 Driver’s License - (Must have)
• Drivers Abstract – in good standing
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days)
• Current Medical & Immunization Records
• Emergency Vehicle Operator certification or equivalent preferred

Your Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team (with EMRs) to provide the highest and most effective patient care possible during all phases of the ground transport process and practices
• Assess the extent of injuries or illness of patients to determine emergency medical treatment required
• Responsible for the safe ambulance operations and transport of patients from remote areas to the Inuvik Regional Hospital
• Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
• Cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment, ambulance, base, and resupply of consumable equipment
