Injection Molding Technician

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes formaintainingand preserving the effectiveness of all equipment, productionlinesand/or facilities, which will helpoptimizetechnical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee the execution of routine and non-routine maintenance of equipment, productionlinesand/or facilities. You will alsoshowcaseyourexpertiseby managing and updating technical documentation for equipment, productionlinesand/or facilities.

The work model for this role ison-siteat 4025 Trans-Canada Hwy, Pointe-Claire, H9R 1B4.

Our night shift employees work 5 days a week, from Sunday to Thursday, from 11:30 PM to 7:10 AM

This role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products Division (ELIP) in Canada.

Your Role: Own the Challenge 

• Define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and advise on ways to improve the reliability, maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facilities.

• Resolve major technical,equipmentor facility issuesin order toachieve better production line performance.

• Propose process and production line improvement projects aimed at reducing routine and non-routine maintenance andoptimizingoperational and energy efficiency.

• Respond to emergencies, breakdowns,malfunctionsand other operating issuesin order tominimize disruptions to the production process.

• Prepare andmaintainmachine cleanliness.

• Participate in various projects within the plant.

• Collaborate,shareand communicate effectively with contractors, teammembersand plant personnel.

• Perform various tasks related to the position.

• Apply quality procedures and policies.

What it takes to run what runs the world

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plastics processing

• Education in plastics processing or experience in a similar position

• Basic knowledge of molds

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills

• Good organizational and priority-setting skills

• Autonomy,resourcefulnessand good team spirit

• Proficiencyin French and/or English, spoken and written
