Full-Time Plumber

PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a Licensed Plumber.

Compensation: $50.37 per hour (Plus shift premiums)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

• Maintenance of site equipment
• Completion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs of all plumbing related equipment within area of responsibility
• Carrying out assigned daily maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Manage through emergency breakdowns
• Support in root cause and prevention of future downtime events
• Work collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risks
• Communicating clearly during shift handovers and team meetings to ensure smooth coordination across teams and work orders
• Demonstrating strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
• Manage through emergency breakdowns

Mandatory: Must currently possess a valid journeyman plumbing ticket in the province of Ontario

· A valid millwright, electrical, pipe fitter/welder, and/or power engineering ticket in the province of Ontario would be an asset

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

· Strong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environment

· Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required

· Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability

· Exceptional communication skills and basic computer literacy

· Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hours

· Must be flexible and available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operation
