Your Impact

As Senior Director, Finance Systems within OpenText’s CDO organization, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how technology enables Finance at a global scale. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll lead functional and technical teams responsible for Finance systems delivery, operations, and modernization, including SAP on-premises applications and integrated services.

You’ll help drive OpenText’s Finance modernization agenda, including the implementation of S/4HANA Cloud, while partnering with senior Finance and IT leaders to turn business priorities into technology outcomes. You’ll lead through complexity, leverage AI and emerging technologies, and deliver measurable value for Finance teams and business users globally.

What you will do:

• Work closely with senior leaders to understand business objectives and develop the finance systems roadmap.
• Responsible for leading the team in the delivery, operational support and continuous improvement of the SAP on-premises applications.
• Finance modernization including the implementation of S/4HANA Cloud capabilities and the broader ecosystem of solutions integrated into SAP
• Work with Architecture and rest of the peer network to develop and maintain Financial Systems Landscape relevance.
• Accountable for delivery of change & bug-fixes for all finance Systems
• Accountable for the operational upkeep of the finance systems including SOX and other IT general controls.
• Accountable for people agenda for the finance systems team.
• Key contributor to the overall technology delivery strategy, ensuring the realization of goals such as reuse, infrastructure simplification, cost management, solution flexibility, operational resilience and the practical use of emerging technologies, including AI, to solve outcome-driven business and IT use cases.
• Build strong cross-organizational relationships and effectively influence staff across the business and IT.

• Driving best practices, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and a culture of learning across teams.
• Building and motivating high-performing teams and fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and accountability.

What It Takes to Excel:

• 10+ years of experience leading engineering, development, or technology delivery teams.
• Strong experience leading complex SAP ERP delivery and operations, including SAP on-premises platforms and integrated Finance systems.
• Proven experience leading S/4HANA Cloud implementations, including program delivery, business process transformation, stakeholder alignment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Strong understanding of complementary financial systems and cross-domain technology ecosystems, including Finance, HR, and CRM.
• Experience supporting technology integrations related to Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (M&A).
• Experience leading multiple complex workstreams within a global organization.
• High-tech software or technology services industry experience is an asset.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, college diploma, or equivalent experience.
