🚀 Why Midnite?
Midnite is a next-generation sports betting and gaming platform built for a new wave of players.
We combine sharp product thinking, bold brand, and fast execution to create experiences that feel modern, intuitive, and built for how people actually play today.
Over 400,000 players have already made the move, and we’re only just getting started.
We’re a high-performance team operating at pace. High ownership. Constant iteration. No hiding behind processes. We move quickly, test relentlessly, and turn ambitious ideas into real impact. If you’re driven, creative, and thrive in fast-moving environments where you can shape meaningful outcomes - keep reading.
Not your grandad’s bookie.
As we build Midnite in Ontario, we need someone to put player protection at the centre of how we operate. You’ll run responsible gambling for our Ontario casino day to day: identifying signs of harm early, making sure players receive the right support, and building controls that work in practice.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll own the day-to-day RG program and help shape how it develops as we grow. That means working player cases yourself, improving our monitoring and interactions, and partnering cross-functionally to make safer gambling part of the everyday player experience.
You’ll keep our program aligned with the AGCO Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming and iGaming Ontario’s requirements. Just as importantly, you’ll have the judgement and confidence to make difficult decisions and put player wellbeing first.
Own and improve our responsible gambling program, policies and procedures, turning regulatory requirements into clear, practical ways of working.
Run player risk monitoring day to day, bringing together gambling activity, spending, time played, account behaviour and customer interactions to spot signs of harm early.
Review whether player interventions reduce risk, and work across teams to test and improve player protection tools, including limits, breaks and self-exclusion.
Handle escalated RG cases yourself: have the sensitive conversations, make well-reasoned decisions from early support through to restrictions, suspension or account closure, and keep a clear record of what you did and why.
Keep self-exclusion and return-to-play processes effective, including iGaming Ontario’s centralized self-exclusion program, account restrictions and marketing suppression.
Partner with Marketing, CRM and VIP teams to make sure promotions and player engagement reflect RG risk and that commercial decisions do not override player protection.
Build and deliver practical RG training for the relevant teams, with coaching and quality checks that improve how we recognise and respond to player harm.
Coordinate RG Check accreditation with Compliance, support regulatory enquiries and audits, keep case records and evidence in order, and see corrective actions through to completion.
Turn RG data into clear reporting for senior leadership, and be the go-to RG specialist across the business, keeping player support resources and referral pathways current.
You’ve spent 3+ years in responsible gambling, safer gambling or player protection, including hands-on experience in a regulated gambling business.
You’ve handled complex cases and improved processes or programs.
Understand Ontario’s igaming framework, including the AGCO’s expectations for identifying and supporting players who may be experiencing harm, and you know how to put these requirements into practice through effective monitoring, meaningful player conversations and clear, well-documented decisions.
You’re comfortable working with player data, case management tools and reporting dashboards. You look beyond the number of alerts closed to understand whether our actions actually helped the player.
You bring empathy, sound judgement and clear communication.
You can handle a difficult conversation, challenge a commercial decision when needed, and explain your reasoning confidently.
You’re organised, practical and happy rolling up your sleeves in a business that moves quickly.
Experience with RG Check accreditation, regulatory reviews or independent assessments.
Relevant responsible gambling, player protection or gambling harm training or certification.
SQL or BI skills, or experience improving behavioural risk models, automated interventions or RG reporting.
24 days off, with applicable Ontario public holidays counted separately.
3% RRSP match from day one - we start investing in your future immediately.
Full health benefits including dental, vision, life insurance, income protection, and an EAP, from day one.
We're early in Canada, and our benefits will keep getting better as we scale.
