Whatyou'lldo

  • Support the development, testing, maintenanceand enhancement of technology solutions, applicationsand services that enable FCC employees and business operations

  • Assistwith analyzing technical, operationaland security requirementsand contribute to reliable,scalableand maintainable solutions

  • Helpmonitor,troubleshootand resolve technology issues, security eventsand system performance concerns while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Assistwith data, reportingand cloud-based solutions by working with data tools, integrations, visualizationplatformsand analytics technologies

  • Prepare, configure,deployandmaintaintechnology equipment, softwareand technology assets used across the organization

  • Support technology lifecycle activities, including software updates, technology refreshes, inventory tracking,documentationand process improvements

  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, technology specialists, businesspartnersand stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions and services

  • Provide exceptional customer service by supporting end users, contributing to team projects, sharingknowledgeand helping employees make the most of technology

Whatyou’llbring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled ina diploma or bachelor's degree program incomputerscience,informationtechnology,businessor a related field 

  • Strong interest in technology support, end-user servicesand learning new technical skills 

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operatingsystemsand common software applications 

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems andidentifypractical solutions 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in easy-to-understand language 

  • Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering excellent service 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities 

  • Interest in learning about cloud-based data environments,servicesand development practices

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previousexperience providing customer service or technical support through work, school,volunteeror extracurricular activities 

  • Interest in emerging technologies, continuous learning and improving how data solutions are built and supported

  • Familiaritywithandinterest incomputer deployment, softwareinstallationor technology asset management practices 

  • Exposure to data, reportingor visualization tools through school,workor personal projects

  • Exposure to audiovisual equipment, meeting roomtechnologyor collaboration tools
