About the Role

We are hiring an Associate onto our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team to grow our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail businesses across Canada. About half of your time will focus on Retail, the category with the most headroom in our business. Rather than owning a single category, you will support three growth levers across all of New Verticals: search, customer relationship management (CRM) and catalog quality. You will identify where customers can't find what they're looking for on-platform, flag or fix hygiene issues in the customer experience, and build the dashboards that tell us where to look next. You will partner with marketing, product and merchant teams to turn those insights into campaigns and experiments. This role requires a mix of hard and soft skills: data analysis & visualization, business intelligence, project management and stakeholder management. The right candidate is extremely detail-oriented, organized and comfortable working through large datasets to find the ground truth. You will use AI to work faster and make better decisions. We operate in a hybrid model: we prioritize getting our teams together in person once a quarter, and you have the flexibility to work from home or the office on most days! You are required to be based in Toronto or Vancouver and will overlap with cross-functional stakeholders across North America. You will report into a Senior Manager on the team and be an individual contributor.

• Experiment. Launch on-platform tests and consult on CRM campaigns, read the results, and scale what works. Embrace the challenge of having multiple paths forward and no right answer

• You have 1-3+ years of experience in operations, technology, consulting, strategy, business development, banking, analytics, e-commerce, high-growth or early-stage startup experience or related experience
• You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree
