A career as a Senior Market Intelligence Advisor within the Insurance Sales and Distribution team at National Bank means acting as a strategic partner to accelerate growth and optimize the performance of our distribution activities. This role allows you to make a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in commercial analytics, market intelligence and performance strategy.

Your role

  • Develop an integrated view of insurance distribution performance by analyzing key growth drivers, including penetration and conversion rates, volumes, revenues, productivity, and potential across client segments, products and channels.
  • Transform internal data, market trends and client behaviours into actionable insights, recommendations and business opportunities that accelerate growth and support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify performance gaps, analyze their root causes and assess the potential of different segments to uncover underpenetrated client groups, cross-selling opportunities and new sources of growth.
  • Conduct structured market intelligence and benchmark our performance and practices against the insurance industry to anticipate trends, monitor evolving distribution models and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Develop performance indicators, dashboards, scenarios and financial analyses to evaluate commercial initiatives, establish performance targets and help direct investments toward the highest-potential opportunities.
  • Influence strategic decisions by developing executive-level recommendations and collaborating with Sales and Distribution, Product, Marketing, Client Experience, Finance, Data and Technology teams to strengthen our analytical capabilities, including advanced analytics and artificial intelligence.

Your team

Within the Insurance Sales and Distribution sector, you collaborate with multiple teams and partners to transform data and market intelligence into tangible growth opportunities. Your expertise contributes to advancing our practices, performance routines and decision-making toward a more data-driven approach.

We aim to offer you maximum flexibility to support your quality of life. This includes a hybrid work environment, as well as a flexible and adaptable schedule.

The Bank values ongoing development and internal mobility. Our personalized training programs, based on learning through action, allow you to master your role and develop new areas of expertise. Tools such as the Data Academy, language training, the Harvard Learning Center, as well as coaching and mentoring support, are available to you at all times.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of growth drivers, distribution models and commercial performance.
  • Experience transforming complex data into clear insights, recommendations and actionable business strategies.
