As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management,shippingand receiving activities, while ensuring all operationscomply withcompany policies.

You will make a difference by:

  • Fostering andmaintaininga positive work environment that drives employee engagement, while ensuring clear communication to align the team with warehouseobjectives.

  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee feedback and innovative solutions.

  • Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, while providing ongoing support and coaching to warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Adhering to health and safety protocols tomaintaina safe workplace and ensure compliance with local and global health and safety standards.

  • Conducting regular safety audits and training sessions to reinforce a strong safety culture.

  • Monitoring inventory levels to minimize excess stock and storage costs.Optimizingwarehouse layout, workflows, and processes to increase operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve productivity whilemaintaininga clean and organized work environment.

  • Creating work schedules and approving timesheets for warehouse employees and drivers, while preparing outbound shipment schedules.

  • Analyzing operational costs and key performance indicators (KPIs), andimplementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

  • Regularly analyzing and presenting reports on key performance metrics related to warehouse operations, safety, and delivery performance.

  • Building andmaintainingprofessional relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, carriers, internal supply chain teams, and Human Resources (People & Culture) partners.

What you bring:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in warehouse management and/or team leadership, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • Diploma, certification, or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (considered an asset).

  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to unexpected changes.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Solid knowledge of health and safety standards within warehouse and delivery environments.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications and advanced knowledge of the AS400 system.
