Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Must be 2026 MRT Graduate. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position including working shift work - days, evening, nights and on-call as scheduled. Participate in Diagnostic Imaging Quality program. Organized, independent worker and a strong team player who is committed to providing quality patient care. Willing to take on additional duties as operationally required. Proven organizational and communication skills. Problem solving and critical thinking skills. The ability to foster an environment of cooperation, networking and collaboration. Communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to deal courteously and tactfully with team members and other Alberta Health Services Staff. Proficient in scanning CT heads.

This Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT I) position performs quality general radiology, fluoroscopy, CT heads, and portable examinations in the busy and dynamic Diagnostic Imaging Department at Chinook Regional Hospital. Close collaboration with technical staff, nursing, patients, physicians, supervisor and management is required.
