The Sr. Agile team lead will be accountable for the delivery and execution of business and technical features that align with the overall creditor strategy.  In this role, the successful candidate will lead a team of developers and business analysts by promoting fundamental agile principles, ensuring best practices are followed, removing obstacles which are impeding team progress and working with the product owner to prioritize the backlog. 

 

How you will create impact:

  • Coaching, training and developing team members in Agile best practices and providing timely feedback to achieve department objectives.
  • Fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency with business units and the leadership team(s) to identify, mitigate and resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Acting as a thought leader to develop, innovate and evolve Agile practices, including building knowledge of relevant products, services and processes to facilitate continuous improvement through empirical approaches.
  • Participating in end-to-end program level planning, coordinating release activities and communicating inter-dependencies to deliver on work commitments.
  • Facilitating team meetings to manage planning activities, ensure a prioritized backlog and prepare key team metrics to maintain target release schedules and plans.

To join our team:

  • You have three years of experience providing agile support to functional teams.
  • You have strong knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies and techniques.
  • You have or are working towards the ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or a related agile accreditation.
  • You have working knowledge of operational and governance principles
  • You are proficient in the use of collaboration tools such as Miro, Confluence and Jira
  • You have experience managing the end-to-end agile delivery cycle including story mapping and refinement, development, testing, implementation to production and transition to ops.
  • You have experience running agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning meetings, Refinement sessions, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Having a post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline would be considered an asset.
