The mandate of Legal Services is to provide a comprehensive and complex range of legal services to elected officials, all City of Ottawa departments, and various boards and commissions (i.e. Ottawa Police Services Board, Ottawa Community Land Development Corporation and the Ottawa Public Library), in the areas of civil litigation, labour and employment law, prosecutions, and corporate, municipal, planning, development, environmental, and commercial law.
You are responsible for providing business operations expertise to Legal Service’s regarding the City’s corporate applications and all other Legal business applications; analyzing and defining integrated business processes; configuring the relevant application to support those processes; and maintaining the functionality of the application.
Completion of 4 year university degree in Business Administration, or related field, with concentration in business/operational process analysis, accounting, or information systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in management systems, business analysis and the use of business information systems, preferably within a municipal environment or a large public organization.
