Computer Repair Field Technician
We are looking for a self motivated technician to provide assistance with computers, software and monitoring systems. As a Field Technician you are responsible for responding to onsite support calls as well as phone calls, chats, emails; offering technical support to customers. You will also support in triaging calls that should be escalated.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responding to customers via phone, email and utilizing remote support agents where required
- Triage support requests to appropriate level tech
- Follow up with customers to ensure problems have been resolved satisfactorily
- Monitoring alerts and ensuring any alert is resolved and/or appropriate level tech is notified
- Make onsite tech visits to resolve customer issues
- Offer assistance with computer configuration, setup and maintenance
- Create and/or improve technical documentation
- Maintain internal customer documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
- A+ certified is a must
- A strong understanding of common desktop computers, hardware, operating systems and software
- Understanding of VOIP/ SIP technologies
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Open to learning new skills, technologies and different solutions
