Compensation: $67,500 to $82,500 Annual Salary
Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience for the role with CareRx.

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Operations Manager, in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for the team’s scheduling, onboarding, training, and adherence to operational processes to support the fulfillment of the team’s goals — accuracy, efficiency, quality, organization — while maintaining regulatory compliance.  The Pharmacy Operations Manager embodies and reinforces CareRx’s Mission-Vision-Values commitments as a way to support a positive team culture.  The Pharmacy Operations Manager participates in tasks as per the job description in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager. Our standard operating times are day shifts from Monday to Friday and we are not open to the public! This position welcomes applications from experienced pharmacy professionals and registered pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling of applicable pharmacy operations such as shipping and receiving, including pharmacy staff on-call and after  hours scheduling
  • Inventory Management as required
  • Develop and oversee on-boarding, coordination and training of new staff and support existing employees in learning and development
  • Document payroll and human resource related items as applicable
  • Monitor and maintain adequate efficient workflow in the pharmacy at all times including redirecting staff as required
  • Troubleshooting technical problems as they arise and contacting contractors as required
  • Problem solves and/or participate in internal and external conflict resolution as required
  • Maintain and communicate Workplace Health and Safety policies and any training, processes and safety issues as identified by the safety committee ensuring timely responses
  • Collaborate with other management members on a routine basis
  • Help with pharmacy operations/drug distribution when required
  • Participate in pharmacy related transition processes as required
  • Other duties will be assigned as required for business needs

Technical Competencies

  • Excellent working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems
  • Competency with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot issue with PACMed and PACVision
  • Demonstrate ability in compounding medicines

    Minimum Education and Experience

    • Registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (RPhT), if applicable
    • 3+ years related experience in Pharmacy Operations
