Description

Who We Are
Carbon6, now proudly part of SPS Commerce, is transforming the future of ecommerce. Our mission is to simplify success for online sellers by removing barriers and building an ecosystem of tools, resources, and community. Developed by expert sellers, entrepreneurs, and marketplace veterans, our solutions support businesses at every stage of their journey — from launch to global scale.

In early 2025, Carbon6 was acquired by SPS Commerce, the industry’s leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions. This milestone marked a powerful evolution of our vision. Together, we’re integrating Carbon6’s ecommerce platform with SPS’s vast retail network to help sellers grow more efficiently, profitably, and intelligently.

As a global team across North America, Europe, and Asia, we thrive on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Whether you're building new technologies, supporting sellers, or scaling operations, you’ll join a community that’s shaping the future of retail and ecommerce — together.

The Opportunity (Toronto, Hybrid)
At Carbon6, we’re building something incredible—and we need a Salesforce Administrator to help us scale. As a key member of our Ops team, you’ll own our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it’s optimized for efficiency and a seamless user experience. Your role goes beyond basic administration—you’ll proactively identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and better data governance, driving impact across sales, marketing, and customer success.

We're looking for someone who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and manage system updates with a sharp eye for governance. If you love solving complex problems, fine-tuning processes, and making Salesforce work smarter—not harder—this role is for you.

Your Impact

    • User & License Management: Own roles, profiles, permissions, sharing rules, and user setup to ensure seamless access control.
    • Data Modelling and System Architecture: Design and implement schema that scales with, and fully models, the business.
    • Workflow Automation: Build and optimize Flows, Apex code, approval processes, assignment rules, and other automation to improve efficiency.
    • Data Integrity & Governance: Maintain data quality through automation, validation rules, and proactive system maintenance.
    • Reporting & Dashboards: Design scalable reports and dashboards that give teams real-time insights to drive decisions.
    • Change Management & Adoption: Own documentation of Salesforce processes and work closely with our revenue leadership and enablement teams on training and adoption.
    • Integration Management: Support and at times oversee third-party applications and integrations, ensuring smooth data flow.
    • Release & Sandbox Management: Lead testing and deployment of Salesforce updates, managing releases effectively, through a development pipeline.
    • System Scalability: Continuously identify underutilized features and design best-practice solutions to enhance our Salesforce environment.
    • Discovery & Problem Definition: Go beyond surface-level requests to uncover the real needs of the business. Engage stakeholders, ask the right questions, and design solutions that solve root problems—not just symptoms.

Your Qualifcations

    • Salesforce Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrations experience. You possess a high level of comfort with Apex and Workflows, as well as a comprehensive understanding of how CPQ works and is typically implemented.
    • Certified Administrator: Salesforce Admin certification required; Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder a plus.
    • Process Automation: Experience with Flows, validation rules, and scalable automation strategies.
    • Data Management: Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and security best practices.
    • Change Management: Ability to drive adoption and manage stakeholder expectations for Salesforce changes.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights for non-technical teams.
    • Empathy for Revenue Teams: Deep understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success challenges. You design systems that enhance their workflows, reduce friction, and help them perform at their best.
    • Systems Thinker: You see how different processes connect, ensuring Salesforce doesn’t just work in silos but drives efficiency across teams.
    • Service-Oriented Approach: You don’t just solve technical problems—you anticipate stakeholder needs, provide proactive support, and ensure every enhancement adds real value.
    • Strong Business Acumen: Grasp the full revenue cycle and how Salesforce drives business outcomes, aligning system enhancements with company goals.
    • Release Management: Experience managing sandbox environments, testing, and deployments.
