We are seeking a customer centric Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant at Caivan, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and qualifying potential homeowners through the home buying process. Your primary responsibility will be to align their needs and wants with our diverse range of Caivan solutions, including Low, Mid, and Highrise offerings. You will be involved in pre-construction sales and be responsible for day-to-day sales activities and model home interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work diligently to achieve sales targets and projections by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with potential home buyers.
  • Engage in prospecting activities and build strong broker relationships to expand the customer base.
  • Obtain qualified referrals and cultivate leads to drive sales growth.
  • Participate in special marketing and promotional events to showcase Caivan's offerings.
  • Ensure lead generation is qualified and compliant with FINTRAC regulations and obtain pre-approval from purchasers.
  • Monitor sales activities for Low, Mid, and Highrise projects and provide regular reports on sales performance.
  • Gather and compile feedback on competition and market conditions for analysis and share with the Sales Manager.
  • Expertly complete and explain Purchase and Sale Agreements with customers.
  • Assist customers with exterior and interior color and design selections.
  • Ensure customers complete the Guest Registry form and track relevant information.
  • Follow up with customers via telephone and email to maintain strong communication.
  • Prepare sales targets and projections for evaluation and planning purposes.
  • Generate weekly sales reports for review and analysis.
  • Maintain the sales office and model homes to provide a welcoming and appealing environment.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to stay informed about the market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Construction departments regularly to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Regularly inspect all community signage to ensure accuracy and collaborate with the Marketing & Sales team on updates and installations.
  • Provide training and supervision to Sales Associates, setting clear expectations for their roles.
  • Stay informed about local builder pricelists and market trends.
  • Perform other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job.


You will bring:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a residential home builder environment.
  • Previous sales experience, with in-home sales experience considered a definite asset.
  • Familiarity with the sales process for Low, Mid, and Highrise properties (freehold and condominium).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A minimum of high school education, with post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service orientation with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and planning abilities to meet sales targets effectively.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends to accommodate customers' needs.
  • Highly ambitious, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
