We are looking for a skilled and motivated Land Development Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our projects in Ottawa and the GTA

The Role:

  • Maximization of project performance through efficient plan design (GTA/Ottawa)
  • Coordination of the development of conceptual development plans and financial evaluation of plan alternatives.
  • Preparation of project proformas.
  • Coordination with consultant teams to ensure engineering designs are optimized.
  • Coordination with Ottawa and GTA Land Development teams to ensure development approvals align with business needs of Caivan.
  • Report to management on the progress and financial status of projects.
  • Coordination with Ottawa and GTA homebuilding teams.
  • Development of tools and processes to maximize profitability through automation and optimization.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

You will Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the land development industry.
  • Strong technical ability in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
  • Project management experience, including: scheduling, financial reporting, and management of staff/consultants.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance priorities and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Degree in or Diploma in Engineering, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
